GN5/GP5 II
The GN5/GP5 II (natural gas / propane) couples a gas burner into VAL6’s state-of-the-art infrared heating technology. It utilizes a premixed combustion burner that creates a blue flame from premixing the fuel gas and air in advance, thus creating a virtually silent operation and 100% clean combustion.
· Clean combustion – the efficiency of the GN5/GP5 II premixed gas combustion system means the GN5/GP5 II produces less than 1 ppm of carbon monoxide– 10-20 times less co than typical forced-air (torpedo-style) heaters.
· Quiet operation – the premixed gas combustion system further allows the GN5/GP5 II to produce minimal operation noise. The GN5/GP5 II produces approx. 60 db, compared to typical forced-air (torpedo-style) heaters that produce upwards from 75 db.
· Adjustable angle – the GN5/GP5 II radiation disk is conveniently adjustable up to a 90 degree vertical angle.

Below are relevant safety features for the GN5/GP5 II:
• Overheat prevention - to prevent malfunction, the GN5/GP5 II has an automatic shutdown system that activates when the main chamber reaches abnormally high temperatures.
• Tip-over protection - the GN5/GP5 II will automatically shut down when it is tipped over or receives a strong impact (bump).
• High-voltage detection - to prevent malfunction, the GN5/GP5 II will automatically shut down when it detects abnormally high voltage conditions.
• Photocell flame monitor - the flame monitor will shut down the GN5/GP5 II if it detects an abnormal flame in the main chamber.
• After power outage - in the event of power loss the GN5/GP5 II will not automatically restart to prevent fire or undetectable accidents when the power is restored.
