The KBE5L (2-step) is equipped with a high/low heat output switch, further maximizing the VAL6 heater traditional series fuel-efficiency.  A fuel preheater keeps diesel flowing smoothly even in the coldest temperatures.

With its 15.1 gallon fuel tank capacity, it will run 20 hours on the low setting compared to the KBE5S and KBE5S-V which will run 10.6 hours on a full tank.

The KBE5L (2-step) remains odorless, smokeless, and fuel-efficient as was its KBE5L (single-speed) predecessor.
