MPX
Combining heated air and radiant heat in this compact unit results in the highest efficiency heater on the market— the MPX. The MPX is a reflection of 35 years of technological advancement. Combining two worlds-- infrared and convectional heat-- the MPX compact size enables it to remain ideal in large commercial-grade applications, as well as, applications in restricted spaces.
• Dual-heating system – much like its smaller sister unit (the DAYSTAR) the MPX utilizes advanced technology that combines both convectional heat (i.e. heated air), as well as radiant heat, allowing it to maximize heat output in large and small settings.
• Larger radiation disk – compared to the DAYSTAR, the MPX is equipped with a larger radiation disk that improves combustion efficiency by 13%, allowing the MPX to provide heat to a wider and further radius.
• High/low output control – the MPX has an output control switch that enables users to choose between a high or low heat output, optimizing fuel-efficiency.
• Longer operational time – with a 6.6 gallon tank, the MPX is able to operate continuously for 15.7 hours on the low heat output setting and 13.7 hours on the high heat output setting, enabling the MPX to operate all day long without refueling.
• Thermostat connector – the MPX is equipped with an external thermostat connector (thermostat sold separately).

Below are practical applications of how the MPX can serve you and your needs:
• Body shop, garage
• Factory, plant, workshop
• Outdoor projects
• Drying of paint and adhesives
• Asphalt and concrete preparation
• Construction sites (including indoor use)
• Sporting events
Below are relevant safety features for the MPX:
• Overheat prevention - to prevent malfunction, the MPX has an automatic shutdown system that activates when the main chamber reaches abnormally high temperatures.
• Tip-over protection - the MPX will automatically shut down when it is tipped over or receives a strong impact (bump).
• High-voltage detection - to prevent malfunction, the MPX will automatically shut down when it detects abnormally high voltage conditions.
• Photocell flame monitor - the flame monitor will shut down the MPX if it detects an abnormal flame in the main chamber.
• After power outage - in the event of power loss the MPX will not automatically restart to prevent fire or undetectable accidents when the power is restored.
