The Heat Shield VAL-MAT (dimensions: 4' x 4') is meant to protect wood and other easily damaged or warped flooring or walls.
 
To use: Place the mat in front of the heater, adjusting it so the center of the radiating disc in facing the center of the mat. Smooth it as flat as possible and use weights in windy conditions.
Materials of shielding mat: Glass cloth and heavy duty aluminum film
Note: If the mat becomes non-reflective, it must be replaced.
 
Compatible with all VAL6 model heaters.
