Below are relevant safety features for the DAYSTAR:
Overheat prevention - to prevent malfunction, the DAYSTAR has an automatic shutdown system that activates when the main chamber reaches abnormally high temperatures.
Tip-over protection - the DAYSTAR will automatically shut down when it is tipped over or receives a strong impact (bump).
High-voltage detection - to prevent malfunction, the DAYSTAR will automatically shut down when it detects abnormally high voltage conditions.
Photocell flame monitor - the flame monitor will shut down the DAYSTAR if it detects an abnormal flame in the main chamber.
After power outage - in the event of power loss the DAYSTAR will not automatically restart to prevent fire or undetectable accidents when the power is restored.
